No problems on my 8year old / 30000 miles. Brake fluid is changed every 2 years.

No worries about seizing wheel cylinders.. Don't have any! Mind you cable brakes don't do much to stop the car either.. Had silicone fluid in my AH which avoids any corrosion issues.

As I had to replace the cylinders on mine, I assume the fluid was there for the last 10 years or more. Did not have a proper look on this as the car chose me...
Now it is properly serviced...

Hi, What is the best source of rear brake cylinders? Can you use Transit ones as previously noted on here? Noticed my pedal sticking a bit, greased the pedal box so is now a bit better.. Thanks Will

It's said that the cylinders are Transit, however if you search Transit rear cylinders, the list in endless for all the various Transit configurations.

I always thought it was Transit shoes / linings & the Cyls were Mog specific
Many, many years ago during a spell in the parts trade we used to dread someone needing Transit hydraulics parts as the parts books ran to dozens of pages as Ford would swop from Girling, Lockheed & even a German type at random
