First ever Mog drive for SWMBO today. Lovely drive out to Aston Marina canal basin.

I must be a better teacher than I thought because she did a great job especially as she's only driven Auto's with Power Steering for the last 15 years or so.

So confident were we after the outward journey that I permitted myself to enjoy a second pint of Aston Marina Bitter in celebration as SWMBO enjoyed sipping a Tomato Juice.

I could get used to this passenger lark (occasionally)

That's a first for me that Austin Cambridge Estate car, looks like a good day out.

We went across the river to visit my MIL and boy was I glad we took the tractor it was heaving.

Many volume medium to large British cars of the 60's had a factory produced estate or shooting brake version. Ford Zephyr/Zodiac, Austin Westminster/Cambridge, Humber Hawk, Hillman Minx, Rover 2000 etc. Ironically, probably because of rarity, you see more of them now at shows than you did in the day.
