Isn’t she pushing on an open door? Seems to me that ‘climate change’ is all over the media as it is. In response to which governments and businesses are clearly making huge efforts to reduce carbon emissions and to mitigate its effects. Has she not noticed in her extensive travels the wind farms in the sea and mountains, solar panels in the fields and on every roof top, electric cars and buses in the cities? Does she not see BBC news? What scares me about this girl is the religious-sounding zeal of her rhetoric. What would she not do to get her way? She is saying in effect climate change trumps (sorry) everything else. Therefore all measures are justified. Well, we know where that leads.

And also, who is behind her...…...pushing the buttons......

So when do you all think Asia is going to quit polluting?

I'm slightly concerned that all these wind farms are interrupting the natural wind flow.

They kill birds as well, and they are noisy.

More concerning is the environmental cost of all the concrete required to plant them...

I believe it's been proven that it takes more C02 to construct and install them than they will ever save

I am surprised there is such an emphasis on solar. Anywhere where there is running water, or better still permanent running water, micro hydro plants could be installed and feed energy not only to local households but back into the grid.

I understand that more scientific analysis demonstrates that the big boys pay off their embedded Carbon within 12 months. (Unless of course they were made with all renewable energy in which case ....)
