And I thought my 06 car at 36.5k was knocking up the miles.

I used to commute in the 4/4 & +4 across Bucks to Surrey. I can't why it isn't a commuter car.

Oh & I get 29 mpg from my S1 Roadster overall. 35 if I am good.

It is very good value,it has been for sale for a while.
The trouble is I think when you try to sell it again with more miles .Unless you are going to enjoy the Morgan and take a hit .

I fail to understand why miles are still an issue.

It seems that the car has been well looked after. The only real question is "how long will the engine last?" Those Ford engines are known to last, so 150,000 is realistic, 200,000 perhaps.

A great car at an attractive price, at this time of year surely someone will buy it?

I agree. The car has got at least another 10 years in it before one might expect any major engine work, and at under £30k it's a complete bargain I reckon.

Nicely loosened up. And let’s face it most owners will only put on a couple of thousand miles a year so it’s going to last for years yet!

100,000 is a psychological barrier. It does not matter if it is kilometres or miles. When you consider that 100,000 km is 62,000 miles it doesn't make much sense but that is the way it is.

Which is a bit of a shame for those who suffer from the barrier, as they would tend to miss some potentially very good buys. Good for the rest of us though, as we can grab the bargains.

A bit like swearing in church but I'd rather have this one for 10k more at the same dealership, I think it would hold it's price better as well in the longer term. 911 It would make a good stablemate for the Plus 8 - management would never agree to 4 cars though she is too sensible.
