The reclining seats of my 2008 Plus 4 4-seater are easy to operate. The front seats must be folded for rear seat access. If the seats only could remember the position before folding, it would be perfect. smile

I'm reasonably sure that Morgan would not be building the frames and mechanisms for the seats. They would just buy them in and upholster them. Certainly they could request lighter springs however they could also purchase the seats from a different supplier that builds a better mechanism.

There is something of a conundrum with the survival of Morgan over the last 50 years. Most English car and bike manufacturers got into severe trouble, were closed or absorbed into other companies for the very simple reason that they failed to modernise products and production techniques. Morgan has survived because it has not modernised (with the partial exception of the Aero range).

Even Morgan has now realised that it is time to update.

While I am on a roll, who was the design genius who decided to move the power socket from the perfectly acceptable location in the glovebox to under the centre of the dash where, if you plug in any accessory, the plug affects your ability to change gear? swear

+1 on the lighter socket location, complete PitA, ended up installing two in the radio blanking plate, one constant live for battery conditioner and the other on with ign USB style

I have never found these problems with the reclining seats in the 3 cars I've had, just reach down and adjust. As for the comfort South Devon to Cambridge non stop one trip and no discomfort but I'm only 67 perhaps it's just an age thing wink.

I have lost quite a few RHD pockets to the rake lever however over the years wink
