986.
Is it 2.7 or a 3.2S?
Just curious Steve - I used to own a 986S (3.2).
Congrats on the new one thumbs

I bought the slow 2.7 as I like to keep my fillings in my teeth.
Since I retired from blues and twos, speed isn't what it's all about, been there done that cop

including a hard top, full service history, new tyres, brakes/disks it's a very cheap car for the money
2000yr on a cheap cherished number plate.....TA RAA crazy2

Very nice Steve. TBH I don't think there is a great deal of performance difference between the two.
The Boxster is a great touring car - loads of luggage space (part of the initial design specification).
Sue enjoyed travelling in ours - comfortable, quick when needed (rarely), but people rarely let you out of a side turning, unlike a Morgan. Guess that won't make much difference to you in he wilds of Wales smile
Have a great time with the car.
Don't know whether it is still going, but I used to get some valuable info from the "Boxa.net" forum. Usually pretty civilised on there. If I could find my old car, I discovered the third key for it the other day and would pass that on to the present owner.

All the best,
Graham

Lovely looking car. Could you perhaps put Union Jack badges on, to give it a bit of character? Or perhaps cut some louvres in? Round wing mirrors?
