It was good to catch up with people today and to meet Mark (HeadlessBlue).
Mrs F seemed to find the wind a touch cold and spent some time in the car. It was definitely a lazy wind - it went through you as it couldn’t be bothered to go around.
Thanks to Phil for the impeccable organisation.
Not sure what others thought but it seemed to me that spectator numbers were lower than normal?
Hope those that go on Sunday have a warmer day.

And ‘twas good to meet you, and Mrs F, and Stewart, and IvorMog, and Robbie from Norway and his Norwegian chum, and many others who’s names I didn’t catch coz of the wind!!!! And of course the marvellous Phil (never did get to see your nipples, greased or otherwise). I agree, Paul, v well organised and the best place on the circuit (imo) to be positioned!!! Bit windy around one’s chestnuts but no rain til the journey home. Really enjoyed the whole day and the racing. Excellent cooked breakfast at the circuit set us up for the day. By the end, with my bad joints n back issues I’d stiffened up so much I could barely walk but defo feel it was worth it. Felt sorry for the owner of that TVR throwing fuel out behind us-did he get sorted before you guys left? All in all thanks for making me, Lady HB and Florence feel so welcome Looking forward to the next time HB

TVR deserved to survive...……. Agreed. A great pity. That Tuscan was very tasty.

Great photos Paul - Sorry I missed you! Thank you. I saw the car and looked for you but you must have been on walk-about. Catch up soon - walking with DonMog on 14th May perhaps?

A few pictures from Saturday 4th This car was stuningly gorgeous. I saw a replica DBR1 on the A46 recently. Just out of curiosity I did a bit of googling. They are made by THIS OUTFIT. £80K with a fibreglass body & £130K with an aluminium body. Most of the ones they make have the alloy body! Last genuine one sold went for £17.5M, so I guess £130K is a bit of a bargain.
