Brian,

I'd agree with everything that's been said. I just can't believe your finding times that hard that you've decided to sell the Aeromax and buy a rare Series 2 Aero.

Does it come with some rolls of carpet and one of the funny hashish pipes wink

Good luck with the sale and it'll be said to see it go.

It's a no contest really: piece of Morgan history vs a car with questionable history with a far stranger colour co-ordination and lacking the ZF auto. Hmm, let me think about that for a minute...

I rang the dealer but apparently kidneys don't count as 'finance'. For shame.

Thanks Guys, and I really do agree with everything that has been said! I may regret selling it, but also have a couple of non-Mog's up for sale as I need to re-jig tHings a bit. Simon, and Bosher's, have advised against it and given me excellent advice and whilst no doubt it is a thing of beauty, I feel it is time to move on - in any case it needs an MOT now. innocent

Asbo you are quite right too, times are hard; money's short (as ever!) and thus as much as I would love that notorious Series II as a track car, the 3W will have to substitute for that...

Lastly the price? It is hopefully priced to sell and as Cicerone kindly says it is a much nicer car than the Hamsters and I agree, as someone once also famously said "Well he would say that wouldn't he?" but having taken the decision to sell I would prefer if it doesn't stick around frown2

Somebody rescue it please woohoo

I am certain you will qualify the buyer carefully despite your desire to be put out of your misery as painlessly and quickly as possible.

Everything has been said by others but I will always remember that sunny day at West Wycombe House when you drove in with the Aeromax showing us and those Marcos Guys what a really stunning car that it is sunny .

My first ever Aero sighting shades This is sad news indeed.

Think that the drugs I am on post teeth extraction this week are messing with me! An opportunity too good to miss, but alas not one I can take. I am sure Julian will find the right new owner.

Have just been cruising the SGT advert and your Max looks superb as usual. Had long talks with swmbo this w/end but unfortunately my persuasive powers are just not what they used to be!
Decision is to stay with ours for as long as we can, enjoy as much wind in the hair (hers, not mine) touring as possible (already booked for LMC).
I am sure that, just as you may have some regrets over the sale, there are many of us who will regret an opportunity missed. I hope the new owner is prepared to 'show and display' as much as you did.
