Oui
Indeed
Watertemp is ok but radiator is 'hot'
And steams
Luckily I check my car all the time before&while driving
Engine never heated, nor did oil pressure drop

The top radiator spigot is prone to weakness. I've had mine brazed/soldered and it's fine now. The chap who fixed it said it was poorly soldered and had a number on pinpricks in it particularly the flange inside the rad/spigot.

It was at the top of the radiator

Imho: before a car goes 'out of warranty',
A dealer shouldn't he check all 'common failures'
Or maybe, with moggies that is far too much work??? oldgit

I just hope it's a little problemo
Cause I'm getting tired of running to the dealer
And the mclaren looks so tempting

Steven, that is a bit of a leap! And, in my opinion, like comparing apples and oranges. Setting that aside, what I have always respected about you is your willingness to enjoy your Morgans on track - would you really be willing to hammer an MP4-12C in the same manner? thinking

it is true that a TRAD is a pretty simple/cheap car to take to the track,
I never felt I had to pay high prices for tracking it,

brakepads 160euro, rear tyres 300euro for both, one throttle-cable and that was all I had to spend "extra" becaus of the track-use,
beside the "more often than needed" oil-change and dealer-check, (certainly the mountainbikes, those are as costly as a "normaly only on sunday driver trad ;))
but all my week-end toys get that treatment

so would I enjoy the Mcl more:
can't take it on track, except the VIP-trackday if it still will be organised
but for sure: after this year I need to bring the automobile-costs down, so 1 week-end car
(belgian tax/insurance are €-suckers)

did an 'estimate' on the insurance for the mp4-12c: 10K Euro
everything (except track) covered
waiting for the quote by my broker
