"Entry Level" is a poor description IMHO. But then, I'm biased!

Some measure the quality of a car by the price they paid, which I find somewhat strange. The 4/4 being the original 4 wheel True Morgan as most people know as a Morgan, the the +4 , Roadster and + 8 eight are mere derivatives of the original .

Oakmere had a couple of new ones a couple of weeks ago, including a very nice willow green with mulberry hide...willow green wires....looked fantastic! That is indeed a very nice car in the colour combination like the Caterham you can see next to her in some of the pics. Already sold.

I thought the "poverty model" referred to the ones without the proper number of holes in the bonnet!!! (Of which I owned one and it was a brilliant car) Nick

I do find it curious that the 4/4 is described by many as 'the ENTRY LEVEL MORGAN'! To me, it's actually the purest DNA of the brand, probably the most 'honest' to the original 4/4. I would prefer to see it described as the 'discerning choice' of Morgan... ! :>) Not to mention all the great plus points the 4/4 has... the lightest, smallest narrow body, great 'revvy' engine that is easily modified, traditionally made...
You are correct!!

The registration certificate of my Roadster, lists it as a 4/4 3000. So, indeed a 4/4 derivative...
