http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=3005&Number=30224#Post30224I use Mobil 1 5-30 but see the thread above. You could also ask your local Jag dealer since the engine appears in the X Type and S type in different guises. The Jag oil filter is XR8E6714AB I'm told, and I might give one a try next service. Make sure they haven't changed the filter spec on the latest Roadster.

Thanks Guy's I did the oil change this afternoon and after a bit of research ( and helpful coments here) went for Mobil 1 5w-30 ( which is 20% off at Halfrauds). Its unhelpful that the cars handbook doesnt specify anything more than 5w-30 - not giving the Ford prefered standard or anything more) having always used Mobil 1 in my cars i'm happy with my choice.
I got the filter from my dealer and replaced the factory fitted Ford EFL600 filter with a Fram PH5803. It fits perfectly.
Just one challenge during the whole process - getting the old filter off. I have yet to ever get a filter removal wrench to work and yet again had to resort to the 'screw driver knocked through' method. At least the sump plug was easy to remove.

Hello Dave, Is it necessary to change the oil on the rear axle and the gearbox so often? If I see the quality of oil, 15.000km or 3 year, are ok?

I wouldn't leave it for 3 years, but that's just my preference. On low mileage I will be doing it every two, but annually for engine oil ...... so far anyay.
