500 mile round trip in Morton to check on boat at Scarisbrick marina near Ormskirk. Solid sun for whole journey š Good run back today but stationary on M62 near Huddersfield for an hour yesterday on way out. Just turned off engine and streamed my favourite tunes from phone to chill.
Underestimated the sun though, now have burnt nose and reverse panda effect face š

Would you like to do mine now. 555 miles of France sun and rain. Oh, and flies. Washed & waxed the car after the IoW adventure. So went down to the sea and back in this great sunshine.
I enjoyed all the sparkly bits being shiny & sparkly for once. Steve, no way one is enough. I only did this as Krazy Horse are doing an insurance valuation on Wed so thought a wax was in order. I leave the pleasure of your car to you. Hopefully we will see each other at Mog 19. I am doing the goody bags from 14 -16 hrs on the Friday. John

I enjoyed all the sparkly bits being shiny & sparkly for once. Iām determined NOT to clean Stanley until back home in the UK, though I did clean the flies from windscreen. Should be about 1000 miles of grime by our return.

Went off to Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds for an insurance valuation & a lust as the boys toys. Then back to Melton for a National Trust meeting.
80 or so miles in lovely sunshine. Perfect.

Great run today. 175 miles through Mid Wales taking in several of the single track "Mountain" roads. Driving through Llanidloes I stumbled across some Belgian cars on a Wales and Southern England Rallye. Some beautiful cars including this Aston Martin. Don't know my Aston models very well and no model badge so over to the specialists for identification please. (After a bit of research, I'm guessing a DB2 so stunning condition for its age.) I tried to track down the owners but there are a lot of pubs in Llanidloes.

Our nearest petrol station is 2.5 miles away.
Managed a 26 mile round trip to fill up at the Shell garage 6 miles away.
Super day for a blast.

Just a little amble around some of our country lanes of 30 miles or so ending up in Dartmouth where there was a nice P reg Devon plated Connaught Green Plus 8 parked up on the Embankment.
Beautiful day for a run with cyclists and horse riders about in the lanes Morganing at it's best.
