Seen only a couple of pics of a Series 1 Aero 8 with wire wheels, and love the look !
Any ideas as to where to source ? Also concerns as the magnesium alloys have locating lugs which may be hard / impossible to get a wire to fit ?
Any help / pointers appreciated ...

Would you share them as I have never seen anything other than the centre-lock five spokes and one or two with the same multi-spokes as shipped on the later Series 2 as they swapped over.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

The Borrani comes look nice, but they dont seem to differentiate between 2001 s1 and other newer versions ....
Might contact them and see what they have to say .

I was in touch with them years ago. I cannot remember the price (even if it was superhigh). What I recall is that they confirmed me that whe could only make them 18 inches. No 19.

Having had the original "made in India" wires on my +8 then the Alloys on Aero S3, I would be concerned that wires would not cope with the Aero torque especially when really wound up at traffic lights. Not that I ever did such a thing

Not that I ever did such a thing That's a fair point Hopwood... so I had a look around the Moderns listed on Borrani's site - there's wheels for a Bentley GT, Merc SL55 AMG, Jaguar XKR (up to 20"!) Ferrari 612... all of which are torquier and heavier cars than an Aero. So I think we'd be OK :-) Will

please stop waving temptation in my face.
I've always thought the Plus 8 would look good with wire wheels...
I'd previously been safe as I believed no one offers 19" wire wheels.
Now it seems it is possible.
I have to talk to Borrani...
If I end up spending thousands I'll blame you!!!!
