Hi all, my last M3W had 5" spots mounted on a special bar I made, I am back into another car but was thinking about making something better, laser cut and folded.

I could roll or "wheel" some shape into it on an English wheel.

Any thoughts?

The bar idea looks good. It looks like you hung that bar on straps, is that correct? Photos if possible 😊

What are the frosted lamps?

I have had several windshields cracked by rocks in several different vehicles but I never have had a lower driving lamp hit. Maybe just luck but that has been over the last 50 years of driving.

I have never lost a headlamp either.

I think you have been lucky and/or less traffic than we have here I have been driving for a similar period and have lost a couple of headlight units and one of those low mounted fog lamps.

Your Mini looks good and ready for a rally someplace thumbs

Nice bit of road you are on there too.

Yes, probably lucky, but considering I lived in a logging community for over 20 years, and now live in an area where the roads are sanded for ice in the winter (they really drop stuff much larger than sand!) I have been amazed that only windshields get the beating.
Admittedly I am a very lucky person, when I got blown up by a Chinese mine in Vietnam the doctor that put me back together told me how lucky I was; no pulse in the arms or legs when wheeled into the O.R., so yes, very lucky.

Thanks for the Mini Rally comment. I have the Hella Black Magics aimed at the sides of the road for deer, dogs and drunk and the occasional bear.
