That's quite an interesting shade Craig. Shame no longer available as standard colour option.
My query though was the with the origins of the current "Sport" prefix MMC colour range. They must have had original names and likely were associated with particular marques, this is the info I was seeking.

Hi can anyone avdvise on which colour I should paint my soon to be re built engine on a1969 4/4 Crossflow I’d suggest black, it’s boring but the xflow always seems to leak a wee bit, save the colour of the rocker cover etc.

Ford engine blocks of that period had a thin coating of black paint. First bit of salt and they rusted if you tried to keep the oil off

I'm wondering when did 2 tone paint jobs get introduced to the Morgan lineup? I'm looking to purchase '65, and like the 2 tone look. Would it be sacrilege to do this?
