So! Finally collected my 80th Anniversary 4/4 yesterday from AW's. Love it! One difference to my Plus 4... I noticed today that on full right lock, the right front wheel rubs on the chassis... is that normal with OEM tyres? Thanks! Pictures to follow!

My Plus 8 will do this if the front suspension is under compression i.e braking and turning at slow speed on a declining road. The same would happen on my 2009 4/4 Sport. Ewan will be along soon with a similar car to let you know. Enjoy the car

Yep, perfectly normal and other than rubbing off a little bit of underseal, no harm done. The inner valance is stainless steel anyway and there aren’t any sharp edges, if I recall correctly, it’s the bulge where the steering shaft comes through where the contact is made. Plant the throttle and dump the clutch, then you won’t need full lock.  Can’t wait to see some pictures, be sure to take it somewhere nice with no modern clutter is shot..
