Hi all, looks like I've put a deposit on my first ever Morgan. Not sure what to do about insurance. Add it to my current classic car policy?, take out a policy with a normal company using confused etc or look to a specialist (Footman James etc)

advice welcome please

Gary

Congratulations on your impending arrival!

Headleys are a popular choice and will do an agreed value which I assume you are familiar with given you have an existing classic car policy.

I keep looking around at renewal but Headleys always comes up trumps in my case.

But make sure you ask about a price for unlimited mileage - cost me a trivial amount to upgrade from 5k miles limit to unlimited.

Welcome.

Have you bought a traditional Morgan or an Aero/Plus6 ? Pictures!

Headley
Gott & Wynn

I have ours (aero's) on a multi-car with Admiral and it was not bad. Don't underestimate your mileage on the first year as it tends to be more than expected. Enjoy.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

+1 for Admiral (if you have a handful of cars). The discounts max out at five cars, and as long as these are all from one household, they can be individual named driver policies for spouse, kids etc each with own NCB.

They can do agreed value, but won't cover track days or significant modifications to cars

I can't fault Gott and Wynn, great service and know Morgans and their usual upgrades etc.
