+1, I can’t comment on any of the “cheaper” options, and if they work for you that’s great, but the 5 link suspension totally transformed my car. So much more positive cornering means less need to slow down, less crashing when you hit a pothole, and much more control during “spirited” starts.
SWMBO says it’s more comfortable which is an added bonus. The only downside as far as I’m concerned is the price.

Bonesie the term ‘bump stops’ may be a bit misleading. There Is no “bang”. They are more of a spring assister or secondary spring.

I had this problem with my 4/4. being as my doctor calls me Obese when i went over bumps, accelerated hard or on undulating roads the prop shaft the casing under the seat and went off like a machine gun. Very Disturbing.
The solution was to fit 4 seater springs and anti tramp bars.
unfortunately the factory only fitted one Anti Tramp bar on the drivers side.so at low speeds going over speed bumps the passenger side does tend to bounce.
so anti tramp and 4 seater springs have solved the issue.

I also fitted Spax adjustable shocks all round which makes an overall difference to the cars ride and handling.
