SER - I'm taking it that this is a direct order from Smiths? Is there a particular part number? And could I be cheeky and enquire as to the cost please? I could also be in for doing this as well... :>) Me too

My clock arrived on Friday and I'm just at the stage of fitting it. I've lowered the dash and found the wiring. The permanent feed for the clock is purple and the lighting is red/white and and black is the -ve earth for both. The lamp holder is already pre wired in the loom so it's all very simple to connect.
I just need to cut the hole in the dash now.
My question is can anybody help with the measurements the factory use for the cut out i.e. mm from reference points such as rev counter or top/bottom of dash?
Obviously the picture posted is a great help and I've made a paper template to check where would suit my vision best but before I cut the dash I would like to check I'm not too far away from where it would be if done at the factory. Many thanks. If anyones interested II will post pictures when I learn how to up load them, at the minute it would appear my file size is too big.

Hi SER, Interested in fitting a clock also. If I was fitting a clock I would go down to my dealers and take some measurements and make a paper template as well. I will have a look at Lifes my local dealers and see if they have any cars with clocks in and report back if they do.
Cheers Rob

Great job!
Looks very nice... did you 'holesaw' the cut yourself?
One thing that 'surprised' me when I removed the dash was, it was veneered plywood, not solid wood...
Lovely Brooklands steering wheel :>)
