This morning I had to go to the DIY place to get 3 x 1.8m lengths of decking. I took the Morgan. How did I carry the timber home? Simple...  One end in the passenger footwell, the other over the roll bar and secured with a bungee. Who said that a Morgan wasn't a practical car? You should deck anyone who says that. I knew someone wood say that I wood knot re-ply to that

Last week we were on vacation and we will return tomorrow. Unfortunately we had four days of torrential non stop rain but it was fun anyway, good restaurants, nice roads and finally the best weather from Thursday on. Together with our daughter and her friend in his MX5 ND Trieste   axle greasing in Udine   Cathedral of Gemona (it is not only the distortion of my iphone lens. it is not perfect angled after the rebuilt after the heavy 1976 earthquake.  Ljublijana  Basilika of Aquileia  Großglockner yesterday, first day open this year  Berchtesgaden (Ramsau, a little town close to it) today with Königssee

Admired four Swiss Jag MK 2 owners who had made it to the Lygon hotel Broadway en route to Coventry according to their rally plaques. It was the 60th anniversary celebration of the Mk 2 Jag at CMC in Bridgenorth on Saturday and there was quite a good overseas contingent there so maybe these guys were en-route. CMC are a very impressive restoration company and they enjoyed a huge turnout of a wide assortment of classics to support the Mk2 display. 8 Morgans from Staffordshire MSCC on display but we didn't win anything. They seemed to give all the prizes to cars or owners who were known to them. (sour grapes) Great day out though. Check out CMC if you don't already know them. CMC car restoration
