Clearly I need to ask for red and white stripes!!

I used to run my own little valeting and detailing business in Edinburgh. One of my regular customers had a 4/4 and I've wanted one ever since. A couple of years later I'm getting one, it was a very proud moment joy

I don't want to offend anyone when I say this, and bear in mind that I like black interiors.
BUT -when you can have ANY paint colour, think long and hard before picking a mass produced car colour like metallic grey. If you really must go for grey, then pick a bold interior like tan, or saddle.

I'd have to agree with you on this one Dave. wink

Why have one colour when you can have them all

I know what you mean, but then I wont get to see the car before I decide the colour, and I know from experience that paint is terribly difficult to photograph.

Another night of contemplation awaits. Is it too early to start on the whisky?

There's a DB6 drophead in last months Classic & Sports Car mag, which is Californian Sage with Tan interior, and it looks a nice combo. (Just as an example).

Providing it's one of the Irish whiskies, you can start now as it's St. Patrick's!

For trying out potential colour choices, you can have small panels or a second-hand bonnet from a scrap yard, sprayed up in the colour. I usually do this when I am not sure about a choice and want to see how it looks on a panel.
