Just drive faster - most of the rain goes over the top of the car but you will need a microfibre cloth for the inside of the windscreen.
No chance in a 3 Wheeler. Water comes over and around the aero screens, round the sides of the car, and in very heavy rain I've had water dripping down the inside of the scuttle onto my knees. You just have to dress in appropriate wet weather gear and accept it.
