Have a great time up there John. We didn't do too bad, although it did rain most days!

I am half happy only: In Aix-en-Provence I parked the 4/4 in a public garage this late morning, using the Tonneau cover. While we had lunch someone opened the cover and stole the (cheap and dismounted) Sat-nav and my very useful Suisse army-knive. Nothing else stolen and nothing was damaged so I am rather happy, though

Just a quick run to Tesco's before the rain comes. Got accosted by an lady for 15 mins while my misses was in the shop. Very social cars, arnt they ! ? Then passed a red mog coming the other way heading towards Leatherhead on way home Come on Bonesie, get your screw heads lined up before Dave W spots them.

(Didn't stop me though).

Today I drove my lovely clean 4/4, through horrid wet and muddy roads, to have the paint corrected and then a ceramic coating applied. After it is now given an even better clean!
I was not impressed however with the atrocious wet weather grip (not) given my the OEM Continentals, locking up under just normal braking and even got the back end breaking loose in a straight line with wheel spin even at the upper end of 2nd gear acceleration! All good 'fun' and brought me back to my 'youth'!... but I was not expecting to find how bad the tyres were, despite the various posts about theme on here!!!
Looking forward to seeing the results of a professional paint correcting at the end of the week... the specialist also commented that the paint is indeed at the 'softer' end of what he has worked on!
