Those screw heads need aligning notworthy

My Old Man always told me that aligned screw heads were a sign of bad engineering practice. (Didn't stop me though).

That would for blind holes? Not when there is a nut behind?

Softer could be an advantage as Mog bodywork has to flex quite a lot in it's lifetime

Spooky..my local paint guru mentioned that the paint job on both of my Morgans was excellent even though the paint appeared "soft"

Never heard of that expression before !

Cain brought my car back this evening after having some paint blemishes sorted and a full service inc brakes and steering set up. We then set off for the Anglemog noggin 3 miles from home I get T boned by a van emerging at speed from a side turning spun me into oncoming traffic, the vehicle failed to stop and made off. Fortunately we got the index number but vehicle was gone. Vehicle owned by somebody I nicked 10 years ago for drink/drug driving. Morgan badly damaged. N/s front and rear wings, door, offside rear wing. Cain's truck also damaged. ooo
