Suggestions please for a good chrome wire wheel cleaner/polish that will remove light rust.
Many thanks

For initial cleaning, a thinned down application of Swarfega (?), hose it off then use autosol metal polish.
Upon completion wrap in cling film and go every where by bus !!!

Is there a gap in the market for secondary double glazing for wire wheels ? Get a plastic/plexiglass round disc made up to go behind and in front of the wheel, could save hours of fettling.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I had chrome plated wire wheels on my last Mog with a tiny bit of rust showing on a couple of areas

I used a fine grade steel wool with Autosol and it worked a treat

I was told early in my Mog ownership this advice by Andy at Lifes Motors:

Fine wire wool for getting tarnish off chrome plating
Sponge scouring pad for badly marked stainless steel

Never ever mix the two

I then used Blackfire Wet Diamond metal sealant to give the whole wheel a clean using cloths
(It smells just like a thinner version of autosol but goes a long way and is much easier to wipe on and buff up)

Already done. Well for the spare wheel...….

It would affect brake cooling on the front.

I chose the red one and sold the black one on...…….
