Thank you Ian. In Tromso without a hiccup so far. I take it you made it to and from East Germany (shows my age) without a hitch?
If you were doing this trip, the Supersports could be risky as you might have a bit of range anxiety between filling opportunities.

Is that a flat topped steering wheel?
Beautiful setting and I hope the golf game went well, looks like a proper courseđź‘Ť Seaside and windy. The bottom of the wheel is flat to help the longer-legged. I had it made not for that but because it frees up the view of the rev counter (not an issue with LHD models).

M3w55 can say that north cap witth is golf bag as passenger... Indeed Raphy - the passenger will be used at Lofoten Links for midnight golf this evening (the first on this trip with no sunset).  We have travelled over 2000 miles together thus far and the passenger and I have not had a single argument. Nice looking M3W - any more pictures you can share (I'm going for dark blue / black) ? Plenty more on the blog Mr Toad's Mad Ride Thanks, beautiful car and scenery, what an amazing experience !

Hi Charles,
Yes , second long trip in a month. Our 34 Supersports took us just over a 1,000 mls to Belgium then Paris no problems, DRIVEN of course.
Then we did the top of Holland then onto Leipzig in the five speeder. Having drilled the baffles out of the standard exhaust two days before.
Must say the difference was amazing, cooler running, smoother, more economical. All round good thing to do. The M3W never missed a beat, even with two days of really torrential rain. we hit one patch of really deep water on a motorway at 65 mph and apart from covering us both and the whole of the interior in water she was rock steady on the road, never twitched once.
The more we drive this Mog the more we love it ! The forum was by far the best intro to buying one. I deliberately bought an early model with ALL the mods done, then did more of my own. She is almost as reliable as my Old Mogs, as she did suffer a puncture in Holland.
ATS Euromaster in Assen ( we popped in to the track too ! ) were good in putting a patch on the tube. The much read about problem of tubes rubbing through on spoke heads was the problem, sorted well by ATS.
So once the Mog had dried off the other tube will get treated too.

Not been on TM for a while and never posted on the 3 wheeler bit, just been quietly enjoying my 4 seater. However the little ones are not so little now and time came to look again. In my line of work we take a long hard look at the future and the environmental agenda is going to change all our lives far more than any of us realise. I was on my way to Williams to pick up the 4 seater after it’s service and it suddenly struck me that we may not be able to buy and enjoy cars like the 3 wheeler for much longer. So that was a couple of weeks ago and today I sent off my deposit for a new one. Oh my god I can’t wait. It’s good to be back on TM, even better to be in the queue for a new M3W !

Richard Congratulations Do you have a delivery date yet? From my ongoing experience with my order I would say a “delivery date” from Morgan is at best a weak factory attempt at humor and in reality is more like a blind man in a wee boat on the ocean in a storm trying to play darts. Date, ha, it is more like which fiscal quarter, and then it is a guess.
