Given it appears you have increased the mechanical leverage ratio of the brake pedal (by relocating the clevis closer to the main pedal pivot) and given the recent factory warnings about possible failure of those early pedal assemblies, you might want to think about installing a clevis pin that goes clear through the brake pedal, or perhaps adding a reinforcement to the top part of the lever arm where the brake clevis attaches. Or simply get the newer design pedal assembly and modify that as you have done here.

+1 crazy2 My brake pedal was the same as yours and it broke! Take it in to your local Morgan dealer (if you have one) for the safety recall mod to be done.

Close, since you missed one of several steps the photo didn’t show in the Thread.

Just a test to see if it still works.

Welcome Swedewheeler, good luck with your M3W. Plenty to read and enjoy here on TM.

Thanks guys....I have just seen that there was some sort of factory recall for the type of pedals I have and with your warnings I will contact our main dealer here in Sweden.....The best will probably be to get the new modified pedals and then see if I can change them and the setup the same way.

I have only been here on TM one day and already got a lifesaving tip:-)

As for learning to post photos that will be a slow process, they should really make it faster and easier for people like me....
