Good that it's going again. Were any personal details such as email addresses, dates of birth, and passwords compromised?

As per the other thread on this topic, it was not a data breech, it was a malicious hack and the purpose was to use the site for spam purposes, not to take user data.

Thank you for clarifying that.

I was thinking the same thing Heinz.....although I did manage to contact quite a few by e-mail!

What a pleasant surprise to wake up this morning to find my favourite time waster ( in the nicest possible way ) is back. It is an old truism that you don't appreciate what you have until it isn't there anymore.
Thank you to all who got it up and running again and a big thank you to Graham for letting me know what was going on.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

And so say all of us.

It may take me a day or two to get used to the new format.

Thank you Simon for all the good work. What is the thread where discussed this? I can't find it.

I received many emails, in reply to my notification, from Image Library members offering moral as well as financial support. I imagine that, other than time, there was a financial cost to the UBB threads support to get this all sorted out, and no doubt a cost for the site script update. How is the kitty going? Is it time for us to kick something in?
