When we were in Geneva, I went with Boshers to the Mansory stand (if you don't know Mansory products please look at their site HERE) as I had a friend helping to man the stand.

Boshers said that a couple of cars on the stand particularly caught his attention, especially the G-Wagen with the SLR engine, which became the G-Couture! You know how he loves big and powerful 4-wheel drive vehicles!



Taking into account his verbatims from the launch of the Three-wheeler, for example "It really needs some more power" and "Wouldn't black Aero SS wheels look great on it?", together with comments he made on the Mansory stand I have commissioned at no charge to him the Mansory Boshly Morgan Three-wheeler Mk II. The upgrade program features both performance and styling improvements to the base car.



As you can see, we have allowed for more power by making it a twinnie (engine-wise that is, an advanced 4-cylinder) and those wheels are straight off the SS. Carbon fibre mudguards and twin-exhausts each side, complete with some stylish chrome mock inlet-panels and nerf-bars finish the exterior look.

The driver has not been forgotten either with the classical BRG leather seats, cross-stitched with contrasting red stitching, and matching head-restraints. The bike's leather-work is further testament to the exquisite craftsmanship applied – it will be unmistakeably Boshly. Carbon-fibre racing mirrors and a partially matt-black finished body complete the luxury racing look.

If you look at the site , you will see the Mansory Zapico custom bike (if you click on it) so if Boshers decides to go ahead with serial production of this Three-wheeler concept, it will not be the first time that they have worked with an S&S engine.

Our only lasting disappointment was that we were unable to incorporate 4-wheel drive...

Nevertheless super bit of graphics---I can see MMC checking this site on a daily basis for inspiration---not that I think they need it!!!

I like that bumper thingy. It somehow reminds me of an AC Cobra.

For obvious reasons you couldn't make it 4WD, but I'm sure with the right transfer box, lifting that superb lookind double V-twin a bit, a forward proshaft could be incorporated - result: possibly the worlds first 3x3

the massive engine structure would substitute for a "ROO" bar , but be careful with any heavy braking, it would probably flip right over and be ready for going in reverse, using the head up display

I have been talking to the designer and he has been looking at incorporating some of your comments/suggestions as follows:

* In response to AQM's post, well spotted! The front nerfs and frame indeed came from a Cobra. It looked ideal 'if you can't beat them, join them!' and is much neater than those ugly black plastic bumpers on the MG roadsters back in the 1970's.

* A short narrative about the first rendering. The seemingly black surfaces of the bodywork are actually carbon fibre. There are LED DRL's integrated vertically into the front mudguards. They have a flush look. And no all-weather protection for now though (David - this is where you come in with your shower curtain option! ).

* It is technically possible to make it a 4 wheeler. The attached and hand drawn mock-up shows a single arm rear suspension on the BMW bike. One arm could be used to support one wheel either side and the rear track is very narrow, similar to the 1960's Isetta BMW bubble car. Both arms swing independently on a common hinge attached to the rear of the tub. Since the BMW bike has shaft drive, propulsion of the rear wheels from the twin engines is via a shared transfer box splitting off in two shafts, driving one wheel each. The upside is that it now boasts all-round independent suspension! Genius

* The rear of the bodywork is widened to provide for the twin tyres and fuel tanks. Lengthwise, it resembles a wasp in profile.

* You will notice that thing lurking at the extreme rear end in the sketch. It is a venturi effect splitter neatly integrated so it does not detract from the Trad looks. Fitment of a spoiler would be the ultimate sin and spoil the looks of this classic car.

* The rear of the bodywork is widened to provide for the twin tyres and fuel tanks. Lengthwise, it resembles a wasp in profile.

* You will notice that thing lurking at the extreme rear end in the sketch. It is a venturi effect splitter neatly integrated so it does not detract from the trad looks. Fitment of a spoiler would be the ultimate sin.

Again, we welcome any further suggestions so that we end up with the ideal Mansory-ed Boshly Morgan Three-wheeler Mk II - I know that having now got 4-wheels Graham will want 4-wheel drive...
