It is now 2 years since we started the TM Image Library to host images for Talk Morgan members after the fiasco of Photobucket. For those who have come in late PhotoBucket was a free image hosting site that suddenly changed their business model from free image hosting to an expensive pay-for-use service and obscuring images on thousands of forums. In effect holding images to ransom. For this reason many photos in older threads are no longer visible. As a response to this we decided to set up an image hosting site specifically for Talk Morgan members. It is currently administered by Hamwich (Tim) and myself, aka Gambalunga (Peter). The idea from the start was to set it up in such a way that there would always be at least two joint administrators in order to ensure continuity of the service. As at the moment of writing we are hosting 12,221 Images in 329 Albums for 265 Users and we are using 4.7 GB Disk space. In that time we have had only 3 attempts to use the site for spam or commercial purposes. Those users have been quickly discovered and cancelled. Images themselves can be viewed by anyone with a link but the actual site itself is not visible to the general public. This, without a doubt, discourages illicit use of the site. Two years already? Seems almost like yesterday! A very valuable resource. While I don't have a massive number of photos hosted, TM-IMG has proved useful for my linking a few photos to the Leica Forum as well as here. Keep up the excellent work! (and do let us know when more subs are due  ).
