My wife and I attended the excellent
Winslow Classic Run last Sunday (14/7/2019).
While the day was a bit grey, the rain held off and 50ish cars of a variety of makes and models pootled around through the Cotswolds north of Oxford.
On one of the faster parts, I had a brown trouser moment when a red deer burst out from the verge and leapt across in front of my car. It required some sharp braking to avoid it. I wish I had a dashcam to have recorded the incident, as it was very impressive.
The good news is that the brakes work very well, and there was no pull to either side.
The trip also featured a hare bounding across in front of us, but with a much large gap; much glorious countryside and a planned stop at a
dairy for cheese tasting (and purchasing). Highly recommended!
