I had the opportunity to drive the plus six at my dealer. For me personally the performance was almost too much.
The sitting position doesn't suit me so well. I sit higher than in the Classic models. This means (for me) that the frame of the windshield is in the
Field of vision.
The seat looks good, but is too wide for slim people. I had little support.
I also don't like the automatic transmission. It reacts very quickly, but my shift points would be set differently. And the gear lever doesn't really look right.
But the brakes and chassis are clearly superior to the Classic models.
Unfortunately this makes the car a bit arbitrary...
Too bad, even if I could afford it, it wouldn't be my first choice.

Thanks for sharing your impressions, Tom. What do you mean when you say that the superior chassis makes the car a bit arbitrary.

I also can buy a Z4.... or a Boxster. It is not the same feeling as in a classic Morgan

That sounds like a very fair comment Tom and I'm sure that others that try it will feel the same way. When I sat in it at FOS the windscreen was a problem for me and also the gear lever it is just an alien thing sticking out there, as I have said before if they put a nice ZF 6 speed manual box in it I would consider one of these in a couple of years time when it's shaken down on the road a bit.

Thanks for that. I ask because is also can be translated with launenhaft which means capricious. Now I understand what you mean, not in the sense of unpredictable or not always controllable but in the sense of, well, very good but a bit boring because it is so good but less unique (which might be a good suspension for new target groups).

@Heinz: I used the deepl Translator... because my English is not the best...
but you are right - it can be the right choice for „newbies“ and will open the brand for new target groups

Car and Top Gear both like it, but both compare it with trad Morgans like the Roadster.
I'd like to see a comparison with the outgoing Plus 8. I don't think anyone has done that yet nd published their feelings.

Another positive point for the plus six. It has significantly more room for taller people on the driver's side. However, the passenger has less legroom as the fuse box serves as a footrest and shortens the space.

@Peter J.
You are right. I compared it with a traditional one.
But, I also sat in a Plus 8 (latest model) on the same day.
And you also sit higher in this one than in the classic models.
But the seat gives you more support (Plus 8 vs. Plus Six).
