Looking at James photos I've realised, for the first time, that the louvres on the Plus 8 are external, in that they are the mirror image of the ones on James S1, so they actively grab air from the outside, bouncing off the windscreen, this photo makes it clear. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2017/09/15/TarkaandtheHighlandRaider_s.jpg) No, the M3W isn't mine, (sob, sob) I noticed that as well Peter, my S4 has louvers along the full length of the bonnet with the same "outside opening" as on yours. I guess if the full length option is ticked, they all have to be cut the same way, including those over the heater box.

I recognise that louvre-free red car! I thought you would... it is of course before the "incident"..... Don't worry, it looks remarkably similar now and still has no louvres. Excessive heat isn't usually a great problem in it either. Certainly not when it's near home!
