If it's coming off I'd think about replacing it for the earlier and in my view nicer badge. I did that on Bumble Steve, and it looked much better. There's a How To buried in 2013/4. I tried the same thing with my current Plus 4, but the badge was fitted with the paint still soft, and it left an outline which the earlier badge doesn't cover. So without some paint rectification, it was a non starter.

Mine lost the enamel very quickly too and was replaced. I think Morgan had a batch of faulty badges.

If they did have a bad batch, Peter, it was a big batch lasting from your car in 2012 as my 2018 Plus4 has a badge which now has no enamel!!!!

Are the badges metal? - mine looks like plastic! I kept having mine replaced whilst under warranty as the insert falls out. I have now picked out all the plastic and carefully replaced it with body colour paint. If I did it again I would try a glass paint to let some of the silver shine through it. Paint was blobbed in using a cocktail stick and then using a craft knife any overflow was removed when completely dry.

Oh yes they are metal. The earlier traditional wings seem a heavier gauge than my 2009 Sport badge was, I have to say though I never lost any of the blue insert from either front or rear badges in 24,000miles..
