Sadly not. Of all days I had meeting at the gherkin in London.
The train was hot on the way in but Greater Anglian surpassed themselves on the return.
The 14:30 was cancelled. That meant we missed our connection. The 15:00 was full from Liverpool St & toasty warm.
GA were then cancelling every other train to / from London.
How people commute by train I don't know but the long trousers are off , shorts are back and the Pimms is on standby.
The Mg can take me for a sea bath in Felixstowe Wed am.

Oh yes twice. After sweating it out in & back from London on Greater Anglia yesterday then today was a mog day. Today in the morning I tried to find the cause of the strangled cat noise when I shut of the car. Naturally not a peep of a noise after 5 shutdowns but it isn't the fan hitting the case or the rad. This afternoon I took the memsahib for a sea bath  . We went in the Mog though obviously that didn't go for a swim. Heaven.
