Hopefully the photo attaches! Europeans have the immobilizer, Americans get a black plug at the top of our dash. I'm thinking about a swiveling cockpit light for that location. Anyone have a better idea??

A GPS with a backup camera that will register impact if you are hit from the rear and record the incident. Put the wee camera next to the rear axle so you can see if you are going to scrap the tail on anything too. Put it on a manual switch so you don't have to have the car in reverse for it to be working.
It could also act as a rear view mirror depending on where the camera was located.
