That is four great, absorbing, intriguing races on the bounce. What a great season so far for all fans.
Today was exhausting to watch but a fantastic advert of great skill from both drivers and teams alike (especially the strategists such as James Vowles). I thought Kvyat and Albon really showed Gunther how team mates can race and show respect to the team paying their wages. Well done Mclaren and Sainz/Norris! As much as I’m not a massive Max fan I think he really showed Lewis how you can be magnanimous in second, especially impressive for such a young lad working for Horner who doesn’t know the meaning of the word humble!
Top notch viewing. Having been to Spa three times, I cannot wait for the second half to begin back there at the end of the month/beginning of September - it’s a fantastic place to see a race...

Indeed, a good run of races recently. Can't believe that 3rd place was a minute behind the two in front.

As a life long Ferrari fan I have to say I was horrified by the difference. 61 seconds behind the front runners!! Enzo must have turned in his grave. What have Ferrari done, or not done more likely.
I think this season is over for the red team so, once again even with another half to go, we need to look towards next year. The crop of new young drivers are great to watch as is always the case so there is hope for F1 if only the stewards could be gagged and leave the racing to be done on the track.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

I missed the race due to an appointment with the inside of a kitchen cabinet, slimline integrated dishwasher and mother-in-law. It took a bit but I fitted her in it eventually. innocent

McLaren do seem to be recovering their mojo finally. Great for Verstappen and also Gasly as well.
Worry for the Red team, someone took a wrong turn under pressure I guess. Between the qualifiing problems and performance something is amiss.
Sad for Bottas, the guy deserves to catch a break.

I will watch sometime this week.

Crikey - if these are "good" races...glad I missed a boring season or two...

Third place over a minute behind, the leaders - says it all...BTCC support races like the Clio Cup are better watching?

Yes a good race and I enjoyed the doubt about the Mercedes strategy. Lewis doubted it, I doubted it, my mates doubted it, even the team strategist seemed to doubt it, which means it was a gamble but one that paid off. Would it have paid off with a driver who wasn't Lewis Hamilton? We don't know. Uncertainty is good for racing and for those who have grown too cynical to enjoy F1 I think you need to sit down, learn a bit about the players, open a beer, and enjoy. The old days were good but the today days are at least as good if not better. And would be even better if all circuits were proper race tracks like Austria, Hungary, Suzuka, Spa etc.

Not that it makes any difference to me but, what a strange thing to say!! How and why would Ferrari cheat? If you mean interpreting the rules then everyone does this to max out any advantage.
