Are there any other Morgan drivers going tomorrow? The theme is "Soft Top Sunday".
I'll be there in the Plus 8 and it would be good to see some other Mogs turn up.

I'll be there again. Here's a picture from last year. I think it's a pity they've brought it forward this year, June was better. By the way, new this year at the Breakfast Clubs is the option to drive your car round the track for a tenner. Slots are limited so you need to book early. ~iw

Very possibly. I went to the first of this years meets last month (tax free theme) and didn't see any other Morgans there which was surprising and it was otherwise very well attended. Is it not a popular event for these cars?

Is it not a popular event for these cars? As per Ian's comment about date changes, I've found the dates that Morgans can fall into (often not that many in the calendar), end up at the mixed weather ends of the calendar (Spring or Autumn) and therefore poor weather dissuades many owners. I know there was one year - it may have been 2009 - where my Morgan really didn't fit into any of the days.

In April 2008 there was an unexpected snow storm, one of the few times I've had to put the hood up. They are not always rigorous in enforcing the theme though, they waved me through to the grid once on a super car day. My son was delighted, we parked between a Ferrari 360 and a Lamborghini. ~iw

hahem Apothecary. If you walked by the front entrance, by the club house, where the gravelled parking is, you would have seen a Red Plus 8 last month ;-)
I'll be there tomorrow again, forecast is OK, so lets hope for a good turnout. Hope to see some of you there....

I've just got back, I've posted some pictures in the gallery. I counted about a dozen Morgans, although only one pre-1972 that would have qualified last month - driven down by a lady who has owned the car for 12 years and was attending her first Breakfast Club meeting. A good turnout - weather ok but quite misty. ~iw

Some nice photos there Ian.
I had a good drive down but left Billinghsurst in the sun and arrived in the mist!
It was good to see a number of other Morgans there but why oh why are they now just letting "anything" into these events.
When they first started, nearly all the cars were quite special. Yesterday, probably only about 25% of the cars were of interest, the rest were MX5's, Z3's,MGF's, convertible shopping cars etc etc.
I know they all met the criteria but it was like walking around a Sainsbury's car park.
Whinge over.....
