My 12 year old John Taylor sits in its tough storage bag in the passenger footwell so makes a very good foot rest for SWMBO and is always on hand without taking up valuable storage at the back. cozychair

I, too, recommend having a storm cover that covers the bonnet - there is quite a debate about rainwater lying in the spark plug recesses on cars with Ford engines, but on older cars (I have a ‘97 +4 with a Rover T16 engine), there is also the risk of the water getting in to the heater box, and running down into the cockpit through the heater louvres, again, as mentioned already, in this case, marking the leather down the sides of the gearbox tunnel - plus, soaking the carpets in the footwell!

Based on the plethora of recommendations above, I ordered a storm cover for my “new” Plus 4. Ordered a week last Wed and arrived on Saturday. Great service. Fits like a dream and was used for the first time at the beginning of the week during a trip to Kent. I’m absolutely delighted with the product. Thoroughly recommended.
