Of course high mileage is no guarantee - did anyone expect that?
It´s just that low mileage is none as well.

I got mine in a pretty good condition but a couple of years neglected.
So I had to redo all the brake wiring as well as the gas lines.

Electric is still ayayay - hope it takes me through the summer;-)

On the other hand there is not a bit of rust and wood seems pretty perfect...

Hi, I appreciate everyone’s response and opinion, although the thread has wandered slightly.
Since starting this thread I have purchased a 2004 +8 Anniversary model with 13500 miles.
The car was originally sold in the UK and later purchased by a German collector, from where I collected the car.
I enjoyed the 600 mile drive home through Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France, and it didn’t miss a beat, why would you fit a radio with an engine that sounds like it does?
The car is now tucked up in my garage at home having a short rest.
Thanks to everyone again.

There is NOTHING so wonderful as the sound od a large capacity naturally aspirated V8

.
Other, perhaps, than the noise of a V12.....!

Enjoy your Plus 8. As John said, photos please.

Peter, you may be satisfied with a V8 as long as you do not know a V12.

Lots of folks think a V2 is best of all.
It may depend on personal taste too...
