From talking to both ATR and Ohlins similar spring rates. For the price difference in the US the ATRs are about 30% less expensive.

in comparision to my cars before (Opel Speedster (a Lotus Elise clone), Porsche Boxster) the handling is terrible, but everyone here, owning a M3W , knows that ;-)
Compared to the originaly mounted Tyres , I think they have a liitle more grip. But they are new, the others where 7 years old ...

I would hate to drive with those on our version of scarified pavement where the top layer of asphalt is ground off and carted away leaving a pattern of grooves that those tires would follow like railroad tracks!
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
