meabh, last year I let make a full new built of my 1973 911T engine head including new pistons and cylinders. They seriously recommended me to keep low at the first 500km but also to enhance the power after that and to make short full revs in the highest gear from 1000km on. Without this constant increase, the machine would remain lame forever. After the oil change I was supposed to get full power. I thought it was a quick time increase, but that's how I should do it.
Of course this can be different with your engine. But actually it is always so that one feels if the engine wants „more to have".

I think this may be the scientific way. I could pick the exhaust up at the factory (date will be announced for splinter group and wider info), and then pop back and have the flash done at the factory later. If that's OK with them.

I must admit I'm quite excited by the prospect of shiny shiny, and a new task...………..

Child !!!!

You'll be covering your car in stickers next and yearning for aeroscreens !!!

Why can't you be happy with the woefully inadequate GDI performance like everybody else ? !!!

I think that what Heinz has said is sensible too. I have relayed my impressions to Dave, bearing in mind that I have only had our car a month now and am still treating it gently. Jamie at BHM said I could wind it up and I trust his advice but its my first brand new Morgan so I am being cautious.

That's a difficult question as its almost only been used on the track and then the loud pedal is firmly planted on the floor.

Hi Dave

I have the exhaust and re-map done on my +4 (Richard Thorne's test mule for the clubsport) certainly adds on the mid range. It seemed that it was about 10 mph quicker at the same revs, economy was still pretty good driving to Spa Belgium still 40+mpg also it sounds good as well.

Hi Malcolm, how do you to to reach 40 mpg???
I have the CS ecu upgrade, the sport manifold and cat but the stock silencer (the sport one is too noisy for me) and I am unable to do better than 33 mpg...
What is you recepicies ?
Pushing the car by hand getcoat
Or maybe it's the stock silencer that allow me to push harder before having a DB volume that explode my eardrums ...

Ok it was a boring long motorway drives when I managed over 40mpg, no chance on the twisty B roads which are more fun. I think the exhaust sounds great I went around Spa circuit in May at the classic great fun
