Hello I have an 4/4 sport 1,6 TI VCT build 2011 and i am wondering that the cooling vent just have one speed. In the fuse compartment are 7 relais one says slow speed one high speed vent, but maybe its just build in without any function. There is also a relais for ac clutch but my car has no ac. I am a little confused because my car starts the vent at 104 C and then the vent starts always on high speed. Maybe its normal but i am a little nervous because of driving fast to the mountains up.
Than you for any Help

Hi Dani, Assuming you mean radiator cooling fan, then yes it should have two speeds controlled by separate relays according to 2006-2014 wiring diagram. There is a resistor plug in the Ford engine wiring harness with red/blue and red/orange wires going to it. Wild shot but you could check that's ok electrically.
The fan power is via 40 amp fuse no.4 in engine fuse box.

104°C seems a bit high. On the 2.0l Duratec the high speed fan seems to cut in at about 92° to 94°. Generally the system try's to keep the temperature at about 90°C. A quick search on the internet confirms that the normal operating temperature of the Ford 1.6 TI VCT engine is 90°C.

My 4/4 sport fan cuts in at about 100C - then cuts out again at about 80 - although with the aluminium radiator I have only had the fan switch on a couple of times and then in long traffic jams in hot weather. If you are worried about trips into the mountains an aluminium radiator might be something to think about.

Ok
I checked all relays. The plan on the top of the fuse box is totally incorrect. I am just talking about the Morgan 4/4 sport build in 2011 with the TI VCT engine. If somebody wants to change relays or fuses he will go mad.LOL But with logical thinking it will be fixed. After this i found out what relays are the slow and high speed for the cooling Fan I Bridged the Contacts to see if the slow and high speed working fine. All OK. I am sure now that the ECU is wrong Programmed or it is like it is. Because the only cooling liquid temp sensor of the engine is near to the Thermostat housing that is at the Rear of the engine located. The Fan is running just by signal from the ECU. In my case I did the reading of Temparature by several Pro diagnosing tools. All say 104 C. Maybe that is just the slow speed running. I do not know at witch temperature theFan is tarting on High speed. But I looked also on some Ford Forums if there are people with the same Questions about the Temperature when Fan is starting to cool down and I found that there are also people they say Fan is starting at 103 - 104 C. Maybe it will be the Best to get a manual Switch to get the Fan Started earlier. I love to go with the Morgan fast uphill. Then with around 35 C Air temp and just using 2 and 3 Gear the poor engine may suffer too much.
If somebody has same engine in the Morgan it will be great to know if he has the same Temps when the Fan is starting Blowing. I took the Original Air filter and Metal tube out of the car because of High Intake temps. It was around 52 C. Outside Air Temp around 35 C That is too much. Now I have just a short Tube with an K+ N Filter and the Filter sit on Top of the engine near to the fire wall. What shout I say. More than 10 C less. And it is not the ultimate construction. I Have done it just to see what is Possible. Of course, the Original design of the air Filter Box and then the long way in a pretty heavy metal tube near to the cooling water Tube doesn't help to get cold Air in the engine. The measurement of 52 C is near to the air filter and I am sure that on the way to the engine the Air gets for sure 2 C more.At the end the engine is feeded by 54 C Hot Air. Argh! I did now some Test drives and all is Ok. On high revs the engine sounds a little different but OK. Responding at accelerating is a little better in between 2500 RPM and 3500 RPM.
Sorry for my Horror english.

I am studying how to get photos uploaded here. Is it right that I have to host at first the photos on a server?
