As I've had a bit of a moan, I thought I'd redress the balance and just say how pleased I am with the service I got from Techniques (and thank you very much to the TMers who recommended me to them!
) - it was well worth the four hour round trip. Not only has the car been serviced but Brian has worked his magic and all the rattles have disappeared. And despite the fact my car was absolutely filthy, it got washed
for free 
The only downside is that Brian was so enthusiastic about Morgan racing that my OH is now investigating whether he can give it a go. *sigh*
