Just chatting with the good Lady HB about the Plus 6, as you do of course.
If we went for it, there is a degree of concern that it wouldn’t fit through the garage doors.
Thus we speculated whether a future Plus 4 version may be narrower but still retain the benefits offered by the Plus 6.
I.e.Auto gearbox, modern suspension, power steering, modern LED headlights, aircon, wider cockpit etc etc and a more powerful engine than the current 154 hp GDI. If it had all this and a price tag of, say, £60-£70k, I would consider putting my name down now for an order date in two years or so....just to keep Lady HB happy of course 😇
What do others think might be coming down the line?

Lady HB isn’t convinced about the colour scheme Kev. Also, I’m not happy about the Tesla style grill.
Now I’m worried coz I know you have the ear of senior people in Morgan and you wouldn’t kid me on serious matters such as this. I’ll wait to see if Dave W has a different insight?

To be fair to Kev he has done a good job with that aftermarket hard top. The factory might want to take notes

Hi HB
After my test drive of the +6 at BHM I have already told Keith I will be changing to a CX platform +4 as soon as possible, cost dependant of course!
In my ideal world it will be similar to the +6 specification but narrower and with circa 200HP.

HB I would have thought that unrealistic. The CX platform is a monococque structure made up of carefully sized parts. Making it narrower would effectively mean a new structure, pressings etc unless we are talking a few mm on wheels and wings. And how do you make it narrower and retain the wider cockpit?

Just making the Wings narrower would the +4 look even more unharmonely than the +6. 😖 +6 body is allready to wide for the skinny wings.
