Hannes, there is no way to beat the system... I spent the last ten or more years of my working life trying to do just that.... more fool me..! Best for me is to accept I have just become a grumpy old man. Since I totally give up maintaining my good lady`s cars a few years back at a time when she bought her first "modern" digital vehicle actually worked out well enough relative to my ever stiffening muscles and diminished ability or wish to be rolling around the garage floor. No point in me trying to be smug relative to my choice of an analogue Morgan and my degree of technical understanding of it and it`s likely issues, now that my physical and mental abilities have diminished with age.....Perhaps a bit like an old man who has married a youthful bride.... No I did not mention Trump..

An out of town storage facility Andy. Get there by autonomous (electric?) taxi. Take real car out for a drive. Return is the opposite of outward journey But this also applies when selecting the "nice country pub with good range of beers" address. Out grin, back hiccup. There could be upsides.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I'll settle for living within walking distance of a nice country pub, especially if it has really good food As for taking the car out for a drive. Google has 360 degree street view now on so any roads that I have decided that I can build a Morgan VR simulator, complete with sound, bumps, cornering forces, acceleration etc. and even an odd whif of exhausted gas and petrol. It's always a sunny day on street view so I can add some simulated wind and drive with the virtual top down. Advantages are that I can go wherever I like without ever leaving home, save a fortune on petrol, choose my model variation with the press of a button, but best of all I won't have to worry about speeding tickets.

Peter, I suspect cyber Morganeering may well be all that is available in time to come, though don`t cheat by making the seat that you chose too comfortable..(-: I recently bought a little Gopro camera and am in the process of recording journeys in my Morgan over my favourite local roads in order that I can view them any time I feel in need of a bit of cyber Morganeering, but admittedly I chose a comfortable seat while doing so..

Peter, moving from Australia (?) to Italy resolves a lot of quality food&distance problems but limiting your Morgan experience to Google-trips is less of an adventure.
BTW: if you stick with Google streetview I would be rather interested to get your well sorted Morgan for a decent price into my garage

As an alternative an autonomous car could be sent out on scenic routes and then we could watch the journey recorded by the on board cameras from the comfort of a sofa, whilst simultaneously browsing Social Media sites. Isn't the future exciting.

If you drive the road that follows that railway line just be careful not to be caught by this: ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2017/11/06/120CHF.jpg) Cost me €120

BTW: your avatar-pic, is that Carcassonne? Exactly. We stayed at Hotel de la Cité when we returned from picking up the car at the factory. We parked in their garage which gave us permission to enter the Cité. ![[Linked Image]](https://bradley.it/wp-content/gallery/bringing-home-the-morgan/img_5472.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://bradley.it/wp-content/gallery/bringing-home-the-morgan/img_5474.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://bradley.it/wp-content/gallery/bringing-home-the-morgan/img_5476.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://bradley.it/wp-content/gallery/bringing-home-the-morgan/img_5479.jpg)
