I'm off on my travels again and have just reached my first stop on the road to the Motor Festival, a lightly wind swept Tan Hill Inn Short post...I'm on holiday so I'm off for a beer! Thanks for sharing your pics Calum, looking at your luggage system reminds me of seeing the Caterham sevens heading to LM a few years back with a stack of cases on the back... though I also noted the female companions who no doubt required more than one case or else...  Hope the weather brightens a bit for the rest of your trip though looking at the forecast... hmm..!! Keep taking the pics and creating memories

Has anyone slung bags over the side? There seems plenty of width available by the wheelbase? A couple of slim ones would attach.
I am sure I passed one on the M6 a few years ago

Gosh, 1600 miles or so each way, so almost 4000 miles the round trip.

how do you access the gas pipe? My trip last week to West Virginia (a lot shorter) it was stopping at the end of the day to sip a single malt

how do you access the gas pipe? My trip last week to West Virginia (a lot shorter) it was stopping at the end of the day to sip a single malt The holdall is held on with slightly elasticated quick release straps so just pop one buckle and it swivels away from the filler cap. The holdall may well contain an emergency supply of Caol Ila, for medicinal purposes of course.
