I did a 'holding post' at RAF North Luffenham many many years ago! Indeed fabulous scenery there... especially around and on the lake!
I have great memories of driving my black Alfa-Sud 1.5 ti around those lovely roads back then too! Must be even better in the Plus4!

I must confess ‘‘tis even better in a Plus 4, especially one that is a glisteny Bentley Velvet Red colour. But once again, I must put my hand up and admit to the potential for a v tiny bit of bias....
Hambleton pretty much overlooks North Luffenham so I guess must be v familiar to you? Where are you based now Pete? (just being nosey so feel free to be vague!).

Only about 1/2 mile to the local garage to get the handbrake cable changed.

387 mile round trip Reading - Sheringham - Reading for mum's 98th birthday yesterday. Dripping wet by the time I got home but worth it!
Only saw two Mogs though - one near Thetford (Dark blue / black) and the the other near Benson on homeward leg (Sports sand).

Wheels in Winslow, followed by a visit to Uncle/Aunt in Aylesbury. My Uncle's dementia is getting a lot worse.
Also met a member of the family I was vaguely aware of, but like many (particularly on the Irish side) I had never met.
He loved sitting in the 4/4 - if his mother allows I may add a photo... That sounds like a really good day Graham, good to start them young too

That’s a long way to travel “just” to drive a Morgan. I am glad you are showing the true commitment that your 4/4 deserves, well done you.
No one, but no one, could ever call you a light weight when it comes to supporting MMC !!!!!!!
For info only myself and Lady HB spent our three week honeymoon in 2002 going round Australia. I am sorry to admit we didn’t make it to Perth. My sincere and unreserved apologies 😔 . You live in a lovely part of the world.

From Devon to Malvern for the factory tour, (a great experience!), then on to Stafford - first leg of the trip North to "do" the north coast 500. Dodging (or rather, not dodging) rainstorms all afternoon - proved that fixing the original leaks only results in the rain finding new ways to target my right knee!
Ho hum! Need to get used to that given the forecast for Scotland over next 10 days! On to Edinburgh tomorrow
