My biggest concern would be from rocks propelled by other vehicles on our local freeways.
Would hate to lose a front tooth, or even get bug splats on my scruffy face. Even bugs hurt. Having owned a previous vehicle with no screen I would wear a helmet all the time unless literally crawling in traffic.
Cheers

LOL, seriously though, if you really, really want to be able to speak to your passenger, a half-face helmet will help, or you could go the electronic way and use those motorcycle "comm. units". http://www.starcom1.com/helmet_communication.htm

Half face with visor would be enough for me, however in the Westfield I used a full face. Would prefer limited conversation to stone or bug in the eye I guess the motor bike comms kit would be ideal and a bit more fighter plane like

Cromwell must be the helmet of choice...they make ( or did once) helmets for the RAF.
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
