What a lot of people identifying themselves with Jedi Knights in Eastbourne. It was 20 years ago since I visited so I guess a lot have fallen off the perch by now  . At 68 I'm doing my share to keep the Devon figure up  .

Collected the car from the local garage . New hand brake cable fitted so the car can be used again.

Yes I hope so, will get KH to check it out on 24/9 when it will be serviced.
The old girl needs some TLC. The exhaust bobbins & U bolts need replacing and I have asked for the coolant hoses to be replaced. Both are original i.e. from 2006.
Next year I'll renew the tyres & I suspect the king pins etc.
Yesterday I gave it a wash & wax (Dodo juice) and we went down to the beach. Bliss.

Lovely coastal run out with lots less traffic I think the mpg is going down nicely now, saw an old 70's Vette no waving strange looking mirthless long white hair driving. Around 50 on Blackpool Sands our schools went back yesterday but up country go back next I think.

A run over to Scampton, along deserted Lincolnshire roads, which really must be seen to be believed. I just had to put the hood up for the last five miles when a wall of weather came over.

Funny that I also drove over to Scampton in the P4SS complete with hardtop !!!
Had lunch at the Dambusters Inn on Scampton High Street,,highly recommended for food and atmosphere,,it was the pub used by the crew of 613 squadron....only downside was Nigel Farage arrived with his crew and security for lunch.
Still he didn't bother me and I didn't bother him,,,,( he liked the Pork Pie )
